Training on the improvements for hearing impaired people

        On 25th November 2022, the training was organised by the Water Centre’s employee dr inż. Ilona Małuszyńska, who is both the Water Centre’s employee and the coordinator of the Dean of the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering for disabled students. The training on the improvements for hearing impaired people was held at the Library at the Institute of Civil Engineering and the Institute of Environmental Engineering on 25 November 2021. The training concerned the methods of adapting conferences, debates and lectures to the needs of hearing impaired people using induction loops.

        Library employees, technical and administrative employees, academic lecturers (including the Water Centre’s employees dr inż. Weronika Kowalik and mgr Michał Szadkowski) attended the training.

       Participants of the training have got acquainted with the portable device bought by the Warsaw University of Life Sciences, that uses the phenomenon of signal induction in hearing aids. Currently used systems improving hearing aid function have also been discussed.
