A meeting between the Director of the Water Centre dr hab. inż. Wojciechem Sas, prof. SGGW and the President of the MT Project Marcin Płużyński was held in the Water Centre on 23th November 2022. The MT Project is engaged in design and construction of transport infrastructure, what is closely related to the discipline of civil engineering, geodesy and transport. This activity is also carried out by employees of the Water Centre conducting research and teaching in the field of Communications Geotechnics.

      During the meeting President Marcin Płużyński visited the laboratories of the Water Centre. Dr inż. Jacek Bąkowski presented the laboratories, where the geotechnic experiments are carried out. Dr inż. Katarzyna Gabryś presented the results of experiments on mechanical properties of anthropogenic materials. Mgr inż. Justyna Dzięcioł from the Institute of Civil Engineering presented the results of environmental analyses related to the safe use of these materials. Possibilites of further scientific and educational cooperation (including expert presentations) between the Water Centre, the Institute of Civil Engineering and MT Project were also discussed. The expediency and legitimacy of signing the cooperation agreement were also agreed.
