Opening of the exhibition of posters of students’ engineering diplomas
The opening of exhibition of posters presenting students’ engineering diplomas in Landscape Architecture in the academic year 2022/2023 was held at the Water Centre of the WULS on 28th March 2023. The exhibition was organised by the Department of Landscape Art. Dr inż. Ewa Kosiacka – Beck was an exhibition curator. The exhibition will last until 5th April.
The event was attended by representatives of the Landscape Architecture Section of the Warsaw Branch of the Association of Polish Architects, who decided to choose the most interesting diplomas.
The jury consisted of Katarzyna Łowicka – the president of the Landscape Architecture Section of the Warsaw Branch of the Association of Polish Architects, Magdalena Kazulo-Kleyff – the vice-president of the Landscape Architecture Section of the Warsaw Branch of the Association of Polish Architects, Jakub Zemła – the member of the Landscape Architecture Section of the Warsaw Branch of the Association of Polish Architects, awarded a prize and three honorable mentions for the most interesting students’ engineering diplomas.
The first prize: inż. Tomasz Ambroziak/Promoter: dr Ewa Kosiacka – Beck/HUMANO garden. Activating the unused space under the Anna Jagiellon Bridge in Warsaw.
Honorable mention: inż. Jakub Lewandowski/Promoter: dr inż. Kinga Kimic/ Revitalisation project of the Bohdan Lachert square in Muranów, Warsaw. The idea of commemorating the patron and the place.
Honorable mention: inż. Kacper Rybicki/Promoter: dr Marzena Teresa Suchocka/ Adaptation project to climate change on the example of redevelopment of a fragment of Madaliński Street in Warsaw.
Honorable mention: inż. Iga Wrzosek/Promoter: dr Ewa Kosiacka-Beck/ ‘Greenery station’ – design of a pocket park in the Kamionek housing estate in Warsaw.
