The inauguration of the academic year 2021/2022 was held on 30th Sepember 2021 in the Crystal Hall of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences. The President of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Duda, the Minister of Education and Science Przemysław Czarnek and the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Grzegorz Puda attended the inauguration.

      During the inauguration the Minister of Education and Science Przemysław Czarnek handed a symbolic check for PLN 4925000 million into the hands of the Rector of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences, prof. dr hab. Michał Zasada. The funding is to be distributed among the Water Centre, the Botanical Garden and Arboretum in Rogów and the Laboratory of Veterinary Epidemiology.

       The purpose of the funding is to maintain research laboratories and equipment as well as a special IT infrastructure.
